Chelsea sacked Avram Grant last Saturday even though the Israeli manager got the club to their 1st ever Champions League final and getting them the runner’s up medal in the English Premier League.
The decision to sack Avram Grant was taken without having a replacement on board yet.
Former Dutch superstar and ex-Barcelona coach, Frank Rijkaard is the bookmakers favorite to fill the void and Chelsea have contacted him and may hold a round of negotiations this week.
However, Jose Mourinho will only rejoin the club he built and return to management if his 3 rules are met by owner, Roman Abramovich.
The 3 rules set by Jose Mourinho include giving him full power to managing the football club including player transfers; managing the 1st team and managing the football academy.
Current Chelsea Football Academy director, Frank Arnesen, with whom Jose Mourinho feuds with, must be sacked in order for him to bring onboard his very own staff.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly in constant communication with Roman Abramovich and other Chelsea directors since a few weeks back.
At the same time, he is also negotiating a deal with Italian champions, Inter Milan, for a possible managerial position in the coming season.
